Adjusting Point Balance via CSV file

Adjusting points via CSV file doesn’t create new customers; it just adjusts points to the existing customers on BayRewards. You can use this method to add or deduct customer points.

To adjust the point balance through a CSV file in the BayRewards:

Step 1: Log into the BayRewards app store by entering the correct credentials. (To access the BayRewards app store, https://auth.bayrewards.io/login)

Step 2: On the BayRewards dashboard, click the “Customers” option in the left-hand side menu.

Step 3: Select the "Adjust point balance" option under "More actions" in the top right-hand corner.

Step 4: In the "Import points to" section, select either "Add points to existing customer balances" or "Reset existing customer balances" from the dropdown menu in the popup.

  • Add points to existing customer balances means increasing/decreasing the points on a customer's account.

Example: Customer A has 200 points in the wallet; adding or decreasing points will adjust the existing points in the wallet.

200 (existing points) + 50 = will adjust the points to 250

200 (existing points) - 50 = will adjust the points to 150

  • Reset existing customer balances means that this will reset the original points in the wallet and replace them with the new points added through the CSV.

Example: Customer A has 200 points in the wallet; resetting the balance will replace the existing points with the new points in the CSV.

200 (existing points); reset value 100 = will reset the points to 100

Step 5: You can add or drop a CSV file to upload the points.
